Problems with Apache on XP

I am getting the error message in a command window (DOS)

[date][error] <OS 2>The system cannot fine the specified File.
: No installed service named "Apache2".
Nothe the erroes or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to ........

Please help .. I tried installing Apache2 even in the C:\Apache folder and
also the
default folder. Nothing seems to work.
