I am tempted to ask how you get apache to start each time, if it wont
start automatically, just so we have more info about the problem. (If
it that you just press Start, then is the service set to start
automatically?)
use the command "eventvwr" to see why apache terminated, 3547 is an
"application specific" error, usually this results in either error.log
event viewer or both messages. It certainly shouldn't have anything to
do with windows updates, are you sure you havent got a service that
runs each time you start windows update. next time use services.msc and
export the list of services running, and do the same after an update
and look at whats different.
