sendmail errors that I cannot find documented

| I would like to ask if someone can either point me to some error
documentation or help me correct the following problem. I have looked
at the apache website.
Even though httpd starts without errors showing upon boot, I am not
able to receive my emails although I can see them in the
/var/spool/mqueue using other means.
One of the queued messages show Malias database unavailable.
I have just upgraded my linux version and am now receiving the
following message from sendmail -bt:
fatal: bad numerical configuration:
debut_peer_level = 2?
followed by some path information
I have re-checked my sendmail settings, host settings, and other
information but I can't seem to locate the problem.

| This has nothing to do with Apache. Unless there is something you're
not telling us in this post.
Why would you look at Apache's website for sendmail errors? How about
looking at Sendmail's website?

| Sorry, my mistake, I meant sendmail's website. Dizzy from trying to
figure it out.
Please replace httpd with sendmail.

| Nonetheless, you're asking this question in alt.apache.configuration.
Which deals with apache and apache's configuration. Really not
on-topic here with sendmail questions.

| Yes, this question has been re-classified.
Sorry and thanks.
