Author Putting Logfiles together

Hello,
i installed apache on a new systems some months ago.
Now i got have the logfiles from the old systems left.

Can i just putt them together so webalizer analyses it correctly?

Yes, you can merge the log files or you could tell webalizer to just
process all of them. See the documentation of Webalizer

And this works with the gzipped Files too or do i have to gunzip them
before?

I seem to remember that Webalizer has an option to use zipped log files too,
check the documentation.
