I have an apahce server called Apache2 which I downloaded from
http://www.apache.org. I got the main root of the website of the
directory password protected. When I went onto this page I typed my
username and password and it logged me in fine. When I closed down
Internet Explorer and then reloaded it again to go back to the page on
my website it automatically logged me in without being asked to enter
my username and password. So I thought that if I delete all the
browsing history, cookies and temporary internet files I thought that
this would then ask me to enter my username and password. However it
didn't. How do I make it keep on asking me for my username and
password.

I would be greatful for any help that you could give.
