Apache2 doesn't forward certificate data correctly

We have SSL configurated standalone Apache 2.0 (WIN) outside the
firewall and Oracle IAS 10.1.2. (WIN) inside firewall.
Users should connect to Apache using certificate, Apache should proxy
request to IAS/OC4J (calling servlet) and transfering also certficate
data. But such requests are refused by IAS !

We realised, that Apache "corrupt" certificate data (fingerprint) with
NEW LINES and convert to upprecase.

Any idea, how to configure apache properly?
