Hi,

I am using a machine running Apache 2.0 (CentOS v 4.4)

I did copy my config (httpd.conf) from my previous machine running
CentOS v 4.3)

I am using a virtual host

A website is placed at /var/www/html (general one)
the second website is placed at /home/user1

Every folder and every file have the priviledge 775

When I tried to connect to the genral one -> no problem
When I tried to connect to the second one can't display anything.

I did open the log file and I can see that it tried to go to the right
folder and say :

Client xxxxxx permission denied : /home/user1/.htaccess pcfg_openfile
unable to check htaccess file

- I did check and I don't have any file lise this into User1 !?!

Any idea would be appreciate

Thanks

Stphane

Check if the permissions on .htaccess file are correct, check also if you
have SELinux enabled and which kind of access control you are using with
that.
