thats great! You should find its totally reliable, the only issue I
have experienced, is that for win32 you might need to have this line in
your apache conf

Win32DisableAcceptEx

this is because theres a win32 "improvement" which often ends up
costing thousands of lines in the error.log file and can cause
mischief.

Now that you have it working, just make sure to keep up to date with
php5.x and apache2.2.x as they are released.
Apache released 2.2.4 today, so you can just whip over there, and get
the latest apache and copy the new modules and exe over.

Oh yes its all fun!! Don't be scared to try to update apache, just do a
complete backup first of the major apache folders, and then int amounts
to updating the php handler if needed, and the apache exe and modules,
but usually it will all just work with no changes to the conf.

FYI, apache lounge is a very good source for the php handler built
using the latest VS.NET - which makes it better than a version built
with other build tools.
mod_security can also be found there which is useful as an application
firewall if you are running third party php code which you dont
completely trust or feel you have the right or confidence to change but
fear running on your server, (old copy of mambo etc..)
