Migrate website from MAMP to LAMP

| Hello list,
I currently have a small personal website running on my Mac mini and I
would like to migrate it to an older Dell running Ubuntu Server 7.04.
After perusing some of the Linux-Apache setup guides on the web I
realize that the Apache config files on my Mac are setup very
differently than on a typical LAMP setup.
Can anyone point me to some info on making this migration work as
smoothly as possible? I am not a professional web master, I just want
my web server off of my Mac. If this is the wrong list to ask please
let me know.

Start by dumping your mysql db and importing it in the new machine,
then copy the whole document root to the new machine and transfer
the vhost configuration. Other details will have to be checked
against the new directory structure.

For their next act, they'll no doubt be buying a firewall running
under NT, which makes about as much sense as building a prison out
of meringue.
