Hi all,
I have taken the plunge and decided to explore Linux.
I have set up a Suse Linux server with an apache2 installation.
Server has a fixed IP inside my network

When I try to connect inetnally (from another PC in my own LAN) I get
to the test page I created without problems.

When I try to connect from an external PC I get a timeout.

I have checked the logs on the router and it is recognising (and I
presume redirecting) requests on port 80 to the correct internal IP.
But there is no sign of any access in the access_log or error_log.

I am on a fixed IP and have opened ports 80 & 443 on my router and
directed them to the fixed IP of the server that the apache2
installation is on.

Can anyone tell me what I have missed?
