Greetings.

I'm trying to get SSI includes on an Apache server.

My http.conf file, in the directory /usr/local/etc/apache
includes the lines:

#
# To use server-parsed HTML files
#
AddType text/html .shtml
AddHandler server-parsed .shtml

... from what I've read should do the trick.

I'm using an .shtml file, with an include statement, but no dice.
Any idea(s) why ??
