Our company has an intranet that used to be running on Netscape
Enterprise Web Server. At the time, we could change web pages, and
the change would appear practically instantly, as soon as you hit
refresh on the browser.

We've recently installed a new apache server (v2.045) to take over the
intranet. In the process of testing, it was noticed that changes we
make don't take affect anywhere near to instantly. Once we change a
page, hitting refresh on the browser doesn't bring up the updated
page. Going to "Tools / Internet Options" in IE, to clear out the
temp internet files doesn't help bring up the updated pages either.

The updates do start showing up eventually, but it takes quite a long
time. Any ideas how that can be sped up ?
