Hi this is a question if no one is able to answer here if anyone knows
of some areas that may be better suited to answer the question it
would be very much valued even if a specific reference to rtfm.

Ok I installed linux(debian) and soon installed apache as well. All
seemed well however a glitch soon appeared. After assigning my ip
config on one computer, I had/have three computers connected to a
d-link router each with there own assigned local 192...xxx address.
The issue is that apache in addition to taking over its local machine
192...xxx although takes over the routers address 192...1, after which
point I'm unable to connect to the internet. However other network
locations are still accesable so its only taking over the gateway and
the sesrver addresses. Takeover of the server address is what I would
like to see happen however if the gateway is taken over then I am
unable to connect to the net.

Does anyone here have any idea where // I can find the file that has
this config as I could not find it in the main .conf file (although I
did find a reference for assigning extra ip/dns lists), I would like
to still run the server locally but NOT for it to take over the d-link
router.

Note that it doesn't automatically take over the address, it takes a
couple minutes befor the net connection stops.

Thankyou for reading and I look forward to any information you may
have.
