| Hi
(RH9, Apache 2.0.40)
When I stop Apache, it always takes a few seconds and then the
following messages appear in the error log:
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5523 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5524 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5525 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5526 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5527 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5528 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5529 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 01 15:09:12 2004] [warn] child process 5530 still did not
exit, sending a SIGTERM
This happens even when Apache is left completely unaccessed (and
behind a firewall) all day long, and then shut down.
What does it mean? How can I stop it from happening?
Thanks,
JA
