Author How Do I Filter my IP address from Web Log Files Automatically?

My ISP, 1&1, provides web stats that are generated from the log files
that reside at the root level of my site. Each and every time I visit
the site my visit is logged and muddies up the results. Is there a
script that I can place into the log folder that will automatically
filter out IPs that I choose? My ISP (1&1) explained to me that in
order to omit specific IP addresses from the web site log files I'll
need a php or PERL script to do so. They do not currently offer IP
filtering options.

Thanks in advance for your help!
