Websphere 3.5.6 + Apache 2.x = compatible?

Simple question, but first some background: I'm working with a WS
3.5.6 and IBM HTTP Server 1.3x configuration that works. We're trying
to move IBM HTTP Server (Powered by Apache) 2.x. Will that work? I've
heard rumors from old posts that it may not, but nothing concrete yet.
