Author move cert request from one .kdb to another

A colleague of mine created a ssl certificate request in his local machines
..kdb through ikeyman and sent this to Thawte and received a cert back.

The problem is that the cert is not for the machine, and I need to get the
cert request from his .kdb into the live sites .kdb file. (Can't import if
original request not present). Is it possible to export a cert request and
reimport into another .kdb file and then import the cert through ikeyman?

If not can anyone recommend an alternative solution?

Thanks
Michael

Just move the kdb, rdb and sth files to the machine which the certificate
was intended for.
