Change the Port directive in httpd.conf.

See the Port and Listen directives
(http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/core.html).

In my <IBM_HTTP_SERVER_INSTALL_ROOT>/conf there is a file named httpd.conf.

Modify this line

# Port: The port the standalone listens to.
Port 80

Thank u!
One more question==>
Now I am working on portal project, the environment is IBMHTTP server,
Websphere AppServer 5 and Portal Server in one box,
each time, I just start WAS server and Portal Server, then portal
application will be active, but never touch HttpServer,
is it means WAS auto invoke HttpServer?

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean.

The HTTP server is usually running automatically and, for an out-of-the-box
usage, you indeed don't need to modify its configuration. The problem you
described in your initial post is due to the fact that two servers are
competing for the same port. I suppose you don't have two HTTP servers on
your WPS box and thus didn't need to change the config.

Does this answer your question ?

Hi Ben,
Sorry for the confusing,
actually, my last question nothing relate to my orginal question.
Just wander, now for IBMHTTPServer+WAS5 environment, looks Httpserver has
not started, only starting WAS enough.
why?

It is a bit hard to understand your question and what you want, but from
what I get, yes you can directly access WAS by using its ports (without
using HTTPServer) and also access HTTP Server and have this routing the
request to WAS.

First option is not recommended for production environments.
