| THis may be a stupid question but does IHS 2.0 not include the admin
interface like 1.3 did?

|
| IIRC, I read somewhere it had been dropped.

It does not.

| It's been dropped; but it's not a stupid question. I wish they had been
a bit more forthcoming about the GUI admin server absence on the IHS
page. The only support site statement I'm aware of is this one:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docvie...uid=swg21115062
It's actually a statement about WAS plugins into IHS. But mid-way down
the page is the notice that there is no GUI admin for IHS 2.x.

| IHS is based on Apache and Admin server was dropped by Apache when 2.0 was
launched.

| Apache had no admin server to drop. Apache's idea of an admin server is
'vi httpd.conf'.
