Dear Sir/Madam,

I am re-installing WebSphere. I have choosen custom installation and haven't selected Embeded Messanging. Instalation is asking me for User ID & Password. I am giving UID :admin and PWD:admin then the error message INST0057E is comming. If I give my syste
m user id and password also same problem is comming. If I didn't choose Run WebSphere & HTTP server as a service, It is not asking for UID & PWD. If I install without UID & PWD I am not getting HTTP Server STOP & START icons. Please help me to solve this
problem.

You should give Username & Password. Both should be System login name and password.

If you by pass this option you will not get Start and stop options in IBM HTTP Server windows menu.
