Author Upgrading to IBM HTTP Server 2.0.42.2?

We need to find out whether or not we can upgrade our current IBM HTTP
Server 1.3.19.1 to 2.0.42.2 with WAS 4.0.2 AE and WP 4.1.3 Extend.

I've installed IBM HTTP Server 2.0.42.2, but I can't seem to load
"plugin-cfg.xml" and "mod_ibm_app_server_http.dll" (from WAS 4.0.2 AE) for
this new IBM HTTP Server. We can't upgrade our WebSphere servers, but we
need to upgrade to IBM HTPT Server 2.0.x to resolve some vulnerabilities.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LTH.

The plug-in for IHS 2.x is mod_was_ap20_http.dll

I am not sure if WAS 4.0.2 had a plug-in for IHS 2.x. You might have to
apply a more current FP.

Yup, that's what we did, and it works fine.

Basically, insteading of applying the new FP, we only extracted and deployed
*.DLL and point http.conf to the right location.

Thanks,
LTH.
