Author IHS 2.0 - How to find out number of open HTTP connections?

2005-11-26, 2:51 am

Hi,

In previous version of IHS 1.3, I can easily find out number of open HTTP connection by greping the http process. But in IHS 2.0, since due to threads I cannot grep the http process. Is there a way to find out how many threads are utilizied?

Thanks in advance.

Sam

Following comes to mind:
* Apache Server status module
(http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_status.html).
* mod_mpmstats
(http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/https...erformance.html).
* there are OS commands or utilities to dump threads in a process (depends
on your platform).
