Stash Password disabled

| On Windows 2003 I have installed IBM HTTP Server 2.x with WebSphere 6. Following the instructions from the IBM website, there is no checkbox for stashing the password when a new keystore is created. As well, the "stash password" menu item is disabled. Any
ideas?
Thanks for the help.

| What kind of keystore are you creating?
Use the ikeyman that ships with IHS (not the one that ships with WAS) and
create a kdb file. You should see the checkbox to shash the password.

| Is there something specific in creating a kbd file? I use the IBM HTTP Key Manager, select "new" and i don't see anything about this file type.
The document I am following for SSL is...
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoc...ec_rwsplug.html
Is there a better document?
When I create the new file I am calling it "serverkey.kdb". The type is JKS. When I do this, there is no stash password element. I see no type "KDB". This is using the ikeyman.bat file found in the IBM HTTP Server Bin directory.

| I put the type to CMS and that allowed me to do what I needed.
Thanks.
