When I change the LogLevel from Error to Trace in the plugin.cfg file I have
to bounce the web server in order for it to take affect. Other changes I
have made seem to take affect 'on the fly' based on the RefreshInterval.
The documentation says I shouldn't have to bounce the web server when
changing the LogLevel. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Thanks.

Mike,

Which version of the plugin modules are you using? Platform? etc.

Not that this helps, but I've not had this issue with WAS 5.x/6 on
Win200x/AIX. What I do generally do though, is change the filename as well.
So when I change the logging level to trace, I change the log file name to
http_plugin_trace.log. And then change it back when I revert to Error.

Have you tried this?

Hope this helps,

CharlyOz.

Thanks Charly. When I rename the file as well as change the log level then
it does what I need to do.
