Author failed install of IHS 6.0 as Windows Service

Sometimes (can't repeat), I get IHS installed, as a Windows Service, but it is not listed in the Services tree.

Attempts to start it from Start>Programs fail, with the error "no registry entry from IBM HTTP Server 6.0 found"

in regedit, I see HKEY_LOCAL/Software/IBM/HTTP Server/6.0

can't start it using the command /bin/Apache.exe

I've seen it on multiple installations. Is there a fix out there?

Tried "apache -k uninstall" / "apache -k install" ?
