The CMS Java native library was not found

I'm just trying to setup SSL on IBM IHS 2.047 running on RedHat Enterprise ES v3.0
The first step is opening ikeyman and selecting CMS key database file from the drop down menu. I get an immediate alert box stating :
The CMS Java native library was not found. Please make sure the SSL component required by your product is installed and the library path is defined correctly.
My JAVA_HOME is set to /opt/WebSphere/AppServer/java ( this is the jdk installed with the WAS plug-in )
PATH is set to $PATH:$JAVA_HOME/bin
I have tested these settings and they are correct.
There must be a step I am missing, but I can't find any reference to it.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

| What version of Java do you have installed on the machine that is running
IHS?
I've found that ikeyman has less problems if you make sure you have Java
1.4.x on your box. Java 1.3 doesn't include the JCE (Java Cryptographic
Extensions) and so you'd have to download them and install it before ikeyman
would work. But with Java 1.4 they are included.

| Which Java are you pointing to? Which OS? Which version of GSK?

| You probably miss a compatability library compat-libstdc++*
Try yum install compat-lib*
Look in the ikeyman file which library has been used.
