Since Payments cannot be clustered, is it possible to set up a hot/warm
or hot/cold pair?

This probably won't help much...back in the WCS v5.1 days, I
participated on a conference call with Greyhound. They wanted to
implement this type of failover and I told them it was not documented
nor supported at the time. I basically advised them to hook up with IBM
directly and become a test case for a white paper. I did talk with a
few IBM'ers and got the same response...unsupported configuration and no
documentation for how to do it.

Not that it can't be done mind you...
