Author Catalog question

Hi all,

Does anybody know if it's possible to place a product under more than 1
category, thus creating one product but present it under 2 or more
categories.. I know it can be done by creating a bundle per categorie with
the same product, but this sounds a bit too much

I hope someone can help me with this..

The Enhancement Pack for Commerce 5.5 has a new feature called a "sales
catalog" that allows you to put the same product in multiple categories.

doesn't look like you can apply it to Express. Sorry...

Mark, thanks for the info, shame it's not available for Express.

Putting a product under two categories has been a standard feature for
years. You could download DynaLoad at eglobal-sol.com and it will show
you how to structure a catalog xml file for creating the correct load
for Commerce.

Basically a product can be in 0,1 or an infinite number of categories as
one would expect with a robust product like WebSphere Commerce or any
full-featured commerce/catalog server product

Cheers,
Geo

Look into CATGPENREL table and add additional rows for your catentry
(product level) and the other categories you are wanting to find the SKU
under.
