I am trying to figure out how to use struts within Commerce or how to
integrate a struts application with a Commerce store. Has anyone tried to
use struts inside a store? Is this even possible given that Commerce has its
own MVC architecture? Please comment here if you have any experience with
struts or any insite into future directions at IBM. Thanks.

Yes, the commerce programmming model is MVC based - you have EJBs, and the
access/data beans that wrap them (M), controller and task commands (C),
and view commands - which map to JSPs (V).

If you are customizing Commerce, I would suggest using the Commerce
programming framework - see the programmer's guide (MC), the store
developer's guide (V) and the Commerce V5.5 handbook (ALL).
