WCS5.5 fixpack1 installation problem

| hi
i have WCS5.5 installed on Win XP machine.
I want to upgrade my Commerce Server from WCS5.5 to WCS5.5.0.1.
For this,
i downloaded the 5501 fixpack from the site
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/
I extracted the fixpack and run UpdateWizard.bat file. It worked fine till the screen which asks for the path of fixpack. I gave a valid path of the fixpack install dir. But as soon as i pressed the Next button i got the following error

If anyone has faced this problem earlier and solved it then it would be very helpful to me as this particular this has stopped my entire work

| That is a very strange error. How much free space do you have on the
filesystem where you have downloaded the fixpack ? What about in the
file system that is being referenced by 'Temp' ?
