Hello all,
I am quite comfortable using WCS outbound messaging system for sending the
email. I am wondering how different it is for writing into a file!. What
is the equivalent of SendMsgCmd, when writing to a file?

I have created a transport and message type, but do not know what to do
next.
Thanks
Jana

Just use the File transport. For example, to store the message "Notification
message of the order status", open the properties note book of that message
in Admin Console. Set the Transport to File. Click on Next and enter the
file name.
