Multiple LDAP user directories

| Greetings,
I have multiple LDAP servers with two sets of users. Is it possible to connect one LDAP directory to one store, and a second to another?
How about both to the same store?
What is the best approach to doing the above? I've read WebSphere itself has trouble with two or more LDAP servers with different user trees. What abotu Commerce?
Thanks,

| Each WebSphere Commerce "instance" can be configured to interact with a
single LDAP server. Each store would therefore run in its own instance,
not together in the same database, unless you wanted to investigate
customizing the login process to hit two LDAP servers and avoid the WC
configuration altogether. Not a trivial customization scenario...
