Promotion Type

I need to create a promotion type that states if you buy this product, you
get 20% of on this product. This is for WCS 5.6.1. In 5.4 there was schema
based discounts, but not anymore. I was reading in the manual that you can
create a promotion type?

Has anyone done this in 5.6.1.?
