Internet Explorer exibits strange behavior when redirecting. I had to
dig deep to find the simple work-around. It is located in config
documentation on the server. Here is a link to the ibm website where
I found it.

Look under the security > 5 and follow all of the steps.

My setup includes a custom LDAP Java secured environment that
exhibited strange behavior - intermittend "The page cannot be
displayed" errors in Internet Explorer but not mozilla.
