Author WebContainer ThreadPool upper limit

We are trying to do some load testing and .And Webcontainer thread pool size has been specified as
140=minimum
200=maximum

But at the peak load websphere webcontainer threads wont increase beyond 150..
is there a Upper limit to max number of threads n pool for webcontainer ..
At the peak loads when thread count is 150 appserver dies
Any insights or suggestions would be great

thanks in advance

There's something else in your configuration limiting the concurrent
requests to 150.

Also, note that if your CPU is at 100%, more threads is badness, not
goodness.
