mdb not picking up messages

| MDB are getting deployed successfully but when a request is fired the mdb is not picking it up. the request is sitting on the queue but the mdb is not picking itup.
any help will be appreciated.

What version of WAS?
What JMS provider?
What messages, if any, in the log files?
Did you turn on trace to see what is happening?

provider - websphere MQ
Nothing there in the was log file. application trace is als on but nothing logged in the application log also.
the message is being put in tghe queue. The same ear when imported in WSDA with the same settings works absolutely fine.
