Hi Everbody,

We have purchased IBM Websphere Application Server -Express v6.0 for SPARC system, and installed it successfully on our SPARC processor, which is our production server. Now we need the same software to be installed on our test server which is on x86 proce
ssor. Since, WAS downloads are not avaiable for x86, we are unable to install the same on x86 system using the available software. Can anybody tell me whether it is possible to install this software...if yes, how?

thanx

Solaris-x86 is not supported, only Sparc. Use a different OS.

Linux would probably be a good choice ;-)

However, I strongly recommend that you do some testing on the same OS
that you intend to use in production before you go live !
