How to start Admin Server ?

| Hi,
I'm new in Websphere. I just install it, n then try to start the admin server. But it failed. When I check for the logs file, it says :
Mon Sep 26 10:36:23 2005 - Warning - load_properties : Couldn't find property file C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/temp\rules.properties
Indeed I don't have the rules.properties file. What am I supposed to do? Is there any advice? Thanks in advance.

What's the version of WebSphere, fixpacks applied, OS (Windows but which)?

| You may want to check if the installation went ok by using "first steps" app that runs after finishing installing everything...
