Hello

I have installed websphere netowrk deployment and federated 1 was base node to dmgr.
I have create new cluster and add was base node in cluster.

Now I would like to create common data source to all applications.
I guess db source need to be confiugre on cell level.

I have went to Environment - Websphere varilable to set the DB2 universal path on Dmgr..
I have set the websphre varilables DB2UNIVERSAL_JDBC_DRIVER_PATH to Dmgr node.

Now how do I set same varilable path to my base node as i am using same db for all applications.
Should I need to set websphere varilable B2UNIVERSAL_JDBC_DRIVER_PATH to base node also.

Please help me on this.

If it's configured at the cell level, then any application server in the
cell will see that variable. You shouldn't have to do anything special.

hi,
as ken said u dont have to do it again in node level,
ok no go to jaas authentication, and enter the j2c authentication values in that.
again come back to resouces
click on ur DB2 driver, then u will see data sourses and data source(version 4)
clck on what ever u wanted to have,
there u need to give jndi name and there u need to map this authentication valuse just now u entered in j2c authentication then choose security which one u r using, if u r not using it takes default then apply those, when u scroll down u will see custom pr
operities
there u have to give server name and etc.
i hope it helps.
thanks
raghu
