The best way to alarm on this is to write a jacl script running in wsadmin which invokes the "isStarted" method via the AdminControl invoke facility. You can query to see if a given ListenerPort has changed to the "stopped" state, and alarm accordingly o
n whatever software you use to monitor your environment.
