Author Deleting content in DM's config/temp dir

Hi, do you know what is the implication of deleting content of deployment manager's /config/temp directory?
(/opt/WebSphere/DeploymentManager/config/temp)

It's only temp dir and we're trying to save disc space, but not sure. We have WAS 5.1 ND on Solaris.

Thanks!

Not very sure you can delete this safely, but here are several Technotes on
