Author application installed successfully using wsadmin but not viewable

An ear has been installed using wsadmin scripting client.On installation it showed successfull. WHen the list command was executed it showed there.
AdminConfig.save() was also done.

However when i logged into the WAS admin console and checked for it , it was not there.

enviroment in wps6 on was6.x
Any help?

Perhaps your admin console is pointing to the wrong server ?
