Problems with Application Server

| Hi
Today at morning i had to restart my Application server but when i tried to do this, i got a problem, because my Application server didn?t start.
I'm using Webspehre 5.1.1 this server is in cluster with an other one
If a start the Node i don't have problem but when i try to start the application server all that i got is that:
root@intramex8 # ./startServer.sh server0801 -trace
ADMU0115I: Trace mode is on.

/opt/WebSphere5/AppServer/logs/server0801/startServer.log

i waited for 30 min and nothing happened

did you try starting it from the console?

The mos probably problem that i have is that there is something wron with the conection of the node between the two servers that are part of my cluster.

Ports are listed in the admin console.

| A likely cause is a port conflict:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoc...p/ae/ADMD.html.
If you have past logs, review them to see what the correct sequence of
initialization is and see if the port it tries to open is logged to
determine which process is holding it.
