Author WBISF - failed message not going into retention queue

2006-04-27, 8:08 am

Hello. I'm facing a problem where a failed message isn't being copied into the retention queue. I see that the transaction is being scoped down to the single transaction that is causing the timeout, but once it gets scoped down to the invoke activity, it
keeps retrying forever.

Unfortunately, it's managed to get out of the timeout out of pure luck, and now I can't recreate the incident. Is there ever a situation where a message fails to be copied into the retention queue and does an infinite retry after being scoped down?

I've read the below link and am curious if there is a reason other then a bug in the WBISF product
