Dear All,

I am going to take a course in WAS 6.0 , but my company still using WAS 5.0 , so i am wondering if there is a huge differents between WAS 5.0 and WAS 6.0 ?

Can you please provide with a link that show the list of differences ?

The main difference is that WAS 5.0 support (and implements) J2EE 1.3 Platform and WAS 6.0 support J2EE 1.4 Platform. You can find all differences in specs. Another difference is that WAS 5.0 uses JDK 1.3 and WAS 6.0 uses JDK 1.4

look at the "what's new" information in the WAS 6 infocenter.

Let me add that while WAS 5.0 has indeed JDK 1.3, WAS 5.1 has JDK 1.4. And
while WAS 6.0 has JDK 1.4, WAS 6.1 has JDK 1.5.
