Dear,

We are using WAS6 ND with cluster mode(srv1 and srv2). The DM is install on server1. If server1 is down. Can I use the backup (I have do the daily backup "backupconfig.bat" to backup the DM) to restore the DM to server2?

No. (Well technically it might be possible, but wouldn't be supported and
would create unnecessary complexity).

Also, if you did what you would need to do then you would most likely have
to stop the running application on server2. I don't think you'd be keen on
this as this would remove your last surviving appserver.
