question about configuring and creating datasources

I´m using WAS 5.1 and my question is if there is any way of creating and configuring datasources using xml and put it inside an ear (ejb2 with cmp) in the same way that WASCE do it in deployment plan.
If there is, what files i have to include into my ear and where.

Now i´m using oracle 9i and i´m doing it with admin console, but i would like in future to install and ear with additional configuration on admin console.

Another question is if i can use tiles and jspx with this version of WAS.
