Error in starting derby with WAS 6.1 ND

I am trying to start the derby Network Server programatically in WAS 6.1 ND. The derby.log file says 
 
Cannot find the network server class, org.apache.derby.impl.drda.NetworkServerControlImpl. Your class path should contain derbynet.jar. 
 
How do i add this file to my classpath?
