Author Web Service getting cached?

2006-01-13, 10:51 pm

Hi,

I have a EAR file which has the web service WAR also in it and is deployed. My struts application in the EAR tries to access the the same web service which is deployed on another machine as well. the WSDL has the URL of the web service on the remote machi
ne. But somehow the local web service is getting called.

The remote web service is called only if I remove the web service on the local machine. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

This sounds like a good thing. Assuming it really is the same web
service, that is.

Is it a good thing even if I am explicitly setting the end point as a separate URL on a different machine in the WSDL ? Is there some caching by default provided in WSAD? I am using RAD 6.0.

Just want to know if this is not happening due to some silly mistake on my part.

I am getting the same problem. Was a solution ever found?

I have an identical EAR file that I deploy on several machines but have different configurations depending on the other resources on that machine (so the web service exists, but cannot work properly).

I explicitly call the URL of the server that I need to use, but instead it bounces back to the local machine.
