Author C-runtime heap is full

2007-02-23, 1:22 am

Hi...

Our application is running on Websphere V 6.0.2.1 ND on Windows 2003.
We see the following error in native_stderr.log and the server immediately restarts itself.

The error is:-
JVMCL052: Cannot allocate memory in initializeHeap for heap segment

The documentation on this error is :
The C-runtime heap of the process (not the Java object heap) is full. Increase the heap if that is possible in your environment.

Can somebody explain what C-runtime heap is and why is this different from Java Object heap. How do we tweak this heap size ?

Thanks,
Krupa
